Joining the Community
Status: Current guidance
Last revised: August 24, 2026
Discord and membership
Participation requires access to the official Stratos RP Discord and an approved community membership or whitelist. Discord is the community hub for announcements, applications, scheduling, server connection information, and out-of-character support.
Community membership is not the same as department appointment:
- approved community members may participate as civilians within the permissions assigned to them;
- Law Enforcement, Fire & EMS, and Communications positions require a separate department application, approval, and any required training; and
- specialty positions, businesses, organizations, or major storylines may have an additional approval process.
Applying and gaining access
Use the current application or membership route published in the official Stratos Discord. Follow the instructions posted there and answer questions accurately. Do not submit duplicate applications or contact individual staff members to bypass the review process.
Administrative notice: A public Discord invite, application link, and exact whitelist workflow are not configured on this documentation site. This page therefore does not invent a URL or process. Administration should add the verified links before advertising the docs outside existing community channels.
Server connection information
Use only the connection information published in the official Discord or another verified Stratos RP channel. Do not rely on unofficial server-list entries or connection details shared by an unknown third party.
Getting help
Use Contact Administration for:
- membership or account access;
- technical issues;
- rule clarification;
- department application questions; or
- staff assistance.
Do not place passwords, authentication codes, private account information, or real-world identification in a support ticket.
